The Brighton Hotel The elegant lounge bar and piano restaurant give an intimate and romantic atmosphere which makes a refreshing change from the vibrant buzz which Brighton is famous for. The furnishings and decor are immaculate throughout and many of the bedrooms have sensational ocean views, as do the bar and restaurant. The Hove Coach House This apartment is just fabulous. Victorian chic comes to Hove. The design brief is unashamedly indulgent: velvety soft carpets, large squishy leather sofas, a super hi-tech kitchen with more gadgets than you can shake a stick at, and the bedrooms are to die for with huge beds: just unashamed luxury with en-suites that are temples to modernity. Jason only had one thought on his mind when he designed and equipped this fabulous apartment in Hove: quite simply his guests. |

Imperial Hotel Most large hotels of this type are pretty soulless with all the rooms and corridors looking exactly the same. Not so here. The rooms are well presented and furnished to a very high standard and the superior rooms with brass bedsteads and four-posters are fabulous. Despite its size, it does have a soul and a very friendly one at that, promoted by the staff who are attentive and friendly without smothering and, as you would expect from a hotel of this class, laundry, valeting and 24-hour room service is available. |

The Claremont Wow - this luxurious boutique roomed guest house rocks. How refreshing, a designer who used a vibrant palate that actually works. It's stunning. The rooms seem huge but still retain quite an intimate vibe and they are superbly equipped, right down to the bathrobes and the Gilchrist & Soames. Breakfasting is such a civilised affair and can be taken leisurely, as it should be, in the beautiful dining room. They also have a fabulous walled garden & are licensed for civil ceremonies. Vicki and Stuart, you are most certainly a class act.
