The furnishings and decor are impeccable and do great justice to this building and its fine heritage with many of the spacious and elegant bedrooms and in particular the balcony room having stunning views across the magnificent Regency Square to the ocean beyond. All of the bedrooms are beautifully presented and are equipped with TV DVD, (sea view rooms have Freeview and flat screen TV) and generous hospitality trays. The real stars here are Sue and Steve, a period twosome who between them provide an incredibly fun, friendly and informal atmosphere and all three of them are in central Brighton - near to boutique shops, the Lanes, Brighton's vibrant gay night life and directly opposite the ever-interesting West Pier. The lounge features a magnificent 1950s jukebox which you are welcome to play at no charge if the mood takes you. Finally, there's both a PC and Wi-Fi in reception if you want to catch up on emails. What a fabulously friendly and sometimes mad place to stay! Sue and Steve: you guys are such fun; don't ever change! |

Kipps Hotel Brighton Overlooking the Royal Pavilion and just a short stroll from many of Brighton's major attractions: Museum, Art Gallery, the theatres Royal and Dome, not forgetting the famous pier. The owner Mario is a really friendly guy and very modest, so don't take everything you read on his website at face value. The style of his hotel is a mix of Africa, Moorish and Colonial, polished wood floors, very comfortable & well equipped bedrooms. There is a great little roof terrace and cellar bar. One thing's for sure: it's a very friendly little place. |

Marina West Hotel Amongst a terrace of Grade II Regency townhouses in a quiet conservation street, near to the vibrant buzz of restaurants and nightlife, sits the Marina West. The style is moderately eclectic but pleasingly so. The bedrooms are beautifully presented with the odd four-poster bed and a smattering of chintz here and there. A great little place to stay with a late night bar that stages entertainment including hilariously good drag shows. The friendly hosts Robert and the two Bobs ensure a fabulous stay.
